General Information

Q: What date and time is the fireworks event?

A: The event will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 7:00pm to approximately 9:30pm. Gates open at 5:00pm and fireworks begin at dusk (approximately 9:15pm).


Q: Where is the event located?

A: The event will take place at Second Baptist Church located at 3111 E Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO, 65804.


Q: Is there an admission fee?

A: Admission is free for all attendees. This is our gift to the community! Food trucks set their own pricing and payment methods.


Q: Is the event suitable for all ages?

A: Yes! This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event with activities designed for all ages, from toddlers to seniors.

Parking & Arrival

Q: Where should I park?

A: Free parking is available around the event site, accessible from Ingram Mill Rd (East), Battlefield Rd (South), or Claremont Ave (West). Event activities and vendors will be blocked off from traffic for the duration of the event.


Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Gates open at 5:00pm, so please arrive anytime after that to set up your viewing space.


Q: Can I bring chairs or blankets?

A: Absolutely! Please bring blankets, lawn chairs, or other portable seating for the event. We will not have chairs and tables provided, so please bring what you need to be comfortable for the event.

Activities & Entertainment

Q: What activities will be available?

A: We'll have inflatable bounce houses, as well as yard games, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and more.


Q: Are the inflatables safe?

A: Yes! All inflatables are professionally inspected and will be supervised by trained staff. Height and age restrictions may apply to certain inflatables.


Q: Will there be live music?

A: We'll have a DJ playing a mix of contemporary hits, classic favorites, and family-friendly music throughout the evening (with a few line dances thrown into the mix!)

Food & Bev

Q: What food will be available?

A: Seven (7) food trucks will be on-site offering a variety of options for every palate (see confirmed trucks above for available items). Food trucks set their own pricing and payment methods.


Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks?

A: You're welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. However, we encourage you to support our local food truck vendors! Please do not bring glass beverage containers for the safety of all attendees.


Q: Will there be vegetarian/dietary restriction options?

A: Food trucks may or may not be able to accommodate various dietary needs. Please check with individual vendors about specific allergens.


Q: Is alcohol permitted?

A: No, this is an alcohol-free, family-friendly event. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Free bottled water will also be available throughout the event site.

Fireworks Show

Q: What time do the fireworks start?

A: The fireworks display will begin at dusk, approximately 9:15pm. We'll make announcements throughout the evening with plenty of notice before the show begins.


Q: How long is the fireworks show?

A: The display will last approximately 15 minutes and is always one to remember!


Q: What if it rains?

A: In case of inclement weather, the event may be postponed or cancelled for safety reasons. Check out this page and our social media for updates on the day of the event.


Q: Where's the best place to watch the fireworks?

A: The East Parking Lot is the best location for watching the fireworks show. You can arrive anytime after 5:00pm to claim your spot. Please be considerate of families with small children when setting up.

Safety & Guidelines

Q: Will there be security or medical personnel on-site?

A: Yes, we'll have security personnel and first aid available at the Guest Services table.


Q: Can I bring pets?

A: We ask that you leave pets at home for their safety and comfort. The loud noises and crowds can be stressful for animals.


Q: What items/activities are prohibited?

A: Including, but not limited to: solicitation, unauthorized vendors, unauthorized fireworks, glass containers, illegal substances.


Q: Is the event accessible for people with disabilities?

A: Yes, we have accessible parking and pathways, as well as restroom facilities.

Other Amenities

Q: Will there be restroom facilities?

A: Yes, we'll have outdoor portable facilities (including ADA) set up around the event area for your convenience. Hand sanitizing stations will also be available.


Q: What should I bring?

A: Bring blankets or chairs, cash/card for food, and dress appropriately for outdoor evening weather. Free bottled water will be available throughout the event site. Please do not bring pets.
