our vision

Kingdom First.

Second Strong.

Our commitment to KINGDOM FIRST means supporting and sending missionaries, church plants,

and serving through Community partnerships.

The Kingdom of God is so important, it was the focus of the first and last sermons of Jesus’ earthly ministry [Mark 1:14-15, Acts 1:3].

The Kingdom of God is too important to limit its influence to one location [Romans 10:13-14].

If we are to advance God’s kingdom well, we must do so out of a position of strength.

SECOND STRONG says lets reach new people and raise up a new generation for the sake of Jesus and the kingdom of God. We are yielding to God to advance his kingdom on his terms and in his time. Our prayer is that Jesus' name would be lifted high, that the saved would live for him, that sinners would come to him, and for Jesus to come again.

What does 'STRONG' stand for?

OUR MISSION

Strong hearts.

Strong homes.

Strong hands.

We believe being a devoted Christ-follower is rooted in a desire to know God, not just as Someone we can go to when life gets difficult, but Someone we have a daily, growing, intimate relationship with. This is accomplished by personal time in Bible Study, prayer, individual and corporate worship.

We believe Christ-followers are called to share the Good News of the Gospel with those God has placed in our lives, including family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and strangers. Whatever your "family" looks like, we believe in equipping all ages and stages to be prepared to give an answer, at anytime, about the Hope we have in Jesus and how He can change others' lives too.

We believe that out of this equipping to share the Gospel, generosity flows, not just financially, but through time serving and going to minister to others in need. These opportunities show us God's mighty hand working in ways we may have never experienced and encourage us to dive even deeper into our relationship with Jesus.

We are committed to discipleship

and equipping the saints for ministry,

from Preschool to Senior Adults.

We are committed to providing

Biblically-based resources on a wide

variety of topics and life circumstances.

We are committed to encouraging service within the body of Christ, through local partnerships, and US and International trips.

PARENT PATHWAY

We partner with parents, who are the primary faith trainers in their child’s faith development, in every path, from making a decision for Christ to entering the world as a young adult.

our beliefs

The Scriptures

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man.

God

There is only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. He has revealed Himself in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

Salvation

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

The Church

A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing the two ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Baptism

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in the newness of life in Christ Jesus.

The Lord's Supper

The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.

The Kingdom

The Kingdom of God includes both His general sovereignty over the universe and His kingship over men who willfully acknowledge Him as King. Particularly the Kingdom is the realm of salvation into which men enter by trustful, childlike commitment to Jesus Christ. Christians ought to pray and to labor that the Kingdom may come, and God’s will be done on earth. The full consummation of the Kingdom awaits the return of Jesus Christ and the end of this age.
