AFTER SCHOOL GOOD NEWS CLUBS – Good News Clubs® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained volunteers meet with groups of children in local schools “after the last bell rings”. The purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
BRANCHES AT BROOKLINE – The Branches at Brookline ministers to adults with developmental disabilities by providing a Christian, family-type home in SW Missouri. With guidance and encouragement from house parents, residents live semi-independently with peers, realize their God-given potential, and lead productive and fulfilling lives within the community.
CAPITOL COMMISSION – Capitol Commission is an organization that ministers to Missouri State legislators, judges, and others in weekly Bible Studies and prayer breakfasts at our state capitol.
COMMUNITY L.O.V.E. FOR KIDS – Community LOVE For Kids is a local ministry that partners with Title One schools and with the faith-based community. They promote literacy and Christ’s love through Book Festivals, Kids Clubs in the Park events, Back to School Bashes, and Christmas celebrations at area Clubs.
GRAND OAK MISSION – Grand Oak Mission is a sponsored ministry of the Greene County Baptist Association in cooperation with local churches to provide food and clothing for those in need in Southwest Missouri.
KINGDOM SPORTS – Kingdom Sports Products is an evangelistic ministry that shares the Gospel using the Ball of Many Colors. Through sports events, they are bringing the lost to Christ, making disciples, and assisting missions volunteers and organizations to reach the lost.
M.E.N.D. – Mommies Enduring Neonatal Death (M.E.N.D.) is a Christian, non-profit organization that reaches out to families who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. M.E.N.D. serves these families in various ways throughout the year, including their annual Balloon Release in the Fall, and the Christmas Candlelight Ceremony in December, honoring the lost.
PREGNANCY CARE CENTER – Pregnancy Care Center is a non-profit organization that provides vital services to seven counties in SW Missouri and is funded totally by the contributions of individuals, businesses, foundations, and churches within the community. Most people know that PCC helps people in the early stages of pregnancy by providing tests and ultrasounds, but many are surprised to learn that they offer services from the initial pregnancy test, throughout the pregnancy, and even following delivery, for both new mothers and fathers.
RARE BREED – Rare Breed serves local homeless and at-risk youth ranging in ages from 13 – 21 years old. They provide hot meals, and mentor these youth to make positive life choices. In many cases, without the Rare Breed, these youth would struggle for survival.
REAL ENCOUNTER OUTREACH – Real Encounter is made up of athletes who use their skills in extreme action sports, including motorcycles, BMX, and skateboarding as a platform to share their faith. They partner with local churches and organizations to connect those who do not yet know Christ and to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
SALVATION ARMY – The mission of Salvation Army is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name. They serve the community through a variety of social programs including emergency food, housing, community centers, daily feeding programs, worship and spiritual counseling, and back to school assistance.
VICTORY MISSION – Since 1976, Springfield Victory Mission has been reaching out with the love of Jesus Christ to people who are hungry, homeless, hurting, and struggling in SW Missouri. The Mission provides food, lodging, clothing, and household goods, recovery programs, education, job training, and Christian counseling in a safe and supportive environment, 365 days a year.
THE PRAETORIAN PROJECT: PILLAR CHURCHES is an initiative to see Gospel-centered churches planted in communities outside of every major Marine Corps Base worldwide. The Pillar Church, Oceanside California reaches the Marine Corps community around Camp Pendleton. This year we begin a new partnership with The Pillar Church, Kaneohe, Hawaii that reaches the Marine Corps community around Kaneohe Bay Marine Base, Hawaii. SEND: MINNEAPOLIS – SEND Minneapolis is an effort of the North American Mission Board to see new churches planted strategically in and around the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Second Baptist partners with multiple church plants there with mission projects and encouragement. SEND: INDIANAPOLIS – SEND Indianapolis is an effort of the North American Mission Board to see new churches planted strategically in and around the city of Indianapolis. C.O.R.E. – Communities of Recovery Experience of Branson is a non-profit Christian ministry designed as an intentional and dedicated Biblical outreach to the alcoholic and addicted in the Branson area. Since being established in 1995, the ministry has grown to include housing, as well as supportive and instructional service to addicts and alcoholics in the community.
AINSWORTH, NEBRASKA-JOHNSTOWN RODEO BIBLE CAMP – Annually, we send volunteers to serve the campers at Johnstown Rodeo Bible Camps. This partnership uses rodeo skills to teach and disciple school-aged children during a week of camp. Children are challenged to memorize an entire book of the Bible and recite it, with the hopes of winning a brand new saddle.
BRIDGE OF FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH – Bridge of Faith Community Church seeks to transform the Rockaway Beach community with the Gospel. They serve their community through thrift store outreach, summer day camps, Bible Studies, community improvement, and next generation leadership development.
HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA – We have recently begun a partnership with church planter Tim Milner to plant Essential Church in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a granddaughter church of Second Baptist, being sent out by Epic Church in San Fransisco and pastor Ben Pilgreen.
ST. LOUIS (Wentzville) MISSOURI – We have begun a partnership with church planter Rick Tucker to plant Red Tree Church in Wentzville, Missouri. This is a great-granddaughter church of Second Baptist, being planted in partnership with Red Tree Church of Springfield and pastor Chad Mathes.
GROVES CHURCH (Webster Groves) MISSOURI – New partnership with Matthew & Leslie Creath, Legacy Church Replanting Pastor, assigned to explore, train, and replanting a declining church into a healthy, multiplying church.
VALOR CHURCH – A partnership with church planter, Craig & Maggie Coppenbarger to plant a church in the community of Knob Noster, MO, serving families in a military culture.
ANNIE ARMSTRONG MISSIONS OFFERING – The Annie Armstrong Missions Offering is the combined efforts of Southern Baptist churches to support U.S. missions work through the North American Mission Board (NAMB).
METROPOLITAN NEW YORK BAPTIST ASSOCIATION – MNYBA connects churches for global impact by planting culturally and contextually appropriate New Testament Churches, raising up Biblically-trained, Kingdom-minded leaders, equipping churches to meet the spiritual, physical, and social needs of people. They network with global partners to provide resources for evangelism, church planting, community ministry, and volunteer missions.
MISSOURI MISSIONS OFFERING – The Missouri Missions Offering is a combined effort of Missouri Baptist Convention churches to fund church planting projects, disaster relief, and other ministries in our state.
NATIVE AWAKENING INITIATIVE – The Native Awakening Initiative is a Southern Baptist effort to discover, train, and plant churches among the Native American community.
BIG COUNTRY – We continue to partner and assist in reaching the Bells of the Big Country, our adopted, unreached people group. Since our partnership started, missionaries report that over several hundred new believers are following Christ.
BAPTIST GLOBAL RESPONSE – Baptist Global Response (BGR) is a disaster relief and community development organization with a heart to help people in desperate need. They demonstrate the love of God to those suffering from disasters, war, poverty, hunger, poor health, and epidemics (AIDS-stricken), etc. Donations bring aid, hope, and peace to families and communities to rebuild their lives.
GUATEMALA – Our missional efforts in Guatemala partners with Daybreak International, a ministry to the cowboys and ranching communities, by working alongside local pastors and missionaries. Their goal is discipling new believers and training young pastors to reach the people of Guatemala.
ITALY – Continuing missions work with Charlie & Shannon Worthy in the Tuscany area.
LOTTIE MOON MISSIONS OFFERING – The Lottie Moon Missions Offering is the combined efforts of Southern Baptist churches to support International missions work through the International Mission Board (IMB.)
MEDICAL MISSIONS/PROJECT HOPE – Medical missions serves to meet the physical needs of people while emulating the love of Jesus. Teams focus their efforts toward the poor rural areas of Nicaragua and Haiti while providing free medical and dental services.
OAXACA, MEXICO – Second Baptist’s partnership in Oaxaca, Mexico, is two-fold. We partner with the G.H. Lacy Baptist Theological Seminary to support training Mexican nationals to take the Gospel to unreached people groups in the mountains of Oaxaca. We also partners with IMB personnel in supporting indigenous pastors in remote villages through training and relationship.

SOUTH ASIA – Second Baptist partners with International Mission Board missionaries in reaching the lost for Christ and church planting in South Asia. Special emphasis is placed upon the professional community.
SCHOOL TO THE NATIONS – School to the Nations seeks to train followers of Christ to take the Gospel to the unreached people groups of the world. Simply put, they do this by facilitating a discipleship school, college Bible study, and missional training to send young adults with the Gospel to the nations. School to the Nations training facilities are located in Ozark, Missouri.
THAILAND – Second Baptist partners with International Mission Board missionaries to reach villages for Christ and plant churches around Chiang Mai, Thailand.
