Ladies, you are invited to BECOME!
1. Begin to be
2. Grow to be
Becoming women believe — We love God, are grounded in His Truth, and in relationship with Him.
Becoming women belong — Not only do we need a place to belong, but someone belongs with us.
Becoming women beget — When we are becoming who God has created us to be, believing Him, belonging together, it is becoming…others are drawn to Him!
Becoming women come as they are — They are welcomed and welcoming. Becoming women are ministered to by God and are ministering to one another. No striving. No burden of self to do better, but to just BE and let The One who lovingly created you sanctify you through and through.
Come BE with us!
Summer Book Club
Connect with girlfriends through fun, faith-based reading this summer! Join us in June and July, or choose the club that works best for your summer schedule. We’re only meeting one time for each book, so this is an easy way to stay connected! Childcare for birth-5th grade is available by reservation only AND we’re offering a morning and evening meeting option, so there’s something for everyone!
Fresh Grounded Faith
This November, we will host Springfield’s 10th Annual Fresh Grounded Faith! Each year, 2000 ladies in our community gather together for this kingdom-minded event to be empowered to live a tenacious faith in Christ. We have the privilege to partner with local churches and over a hundred volunteers as we share the love of Jesus in our city.
Women's Bible Studies
Women at Second are encouraged to regularly be in God’s Word, both privately, and in community with other women. Be watching for our new Fall 2017 Bible Studies!
Here’s why reading the Bible matters. When you spend time in God’s Word, life starts making sense.
The broken places inside you begin to heal. Darkness and discouragement give way to the light of hope.
You have a new reason to get out of bed in the morning. Your purpose becomes clearer, and your desire
to make a difference grows. The Bible can do all that? It can. It will. Just begin. Go slowly.
Stand on tiptoe, anticipating all God has in store for you.
