Family

Shauna and Ben have been married since 2000.  They have the privilege of raising 3 boys- Elijah (born in 2003), Samuel (born in 2005), and Asher (born in 2007).  You can learn more about them all at www.pilgreens.blogspot.com

Ministry Experience

Prior to coming to Second, Ben had the opportunity to lead hundreds of students while serving as a college pastor in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Education

Ben received a degree in Social Work from the University of Louisiana-Monroe.  He then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received a Master of Divinity degree.  He has just begun the Doctor of Ministry program at Denver Seminary, where his focus will be on leadership through preaching and pastoral ministry.

Passion

Ben’s passion is preaching the truths of the Scriptures in a way that connects with where people are living life.  His other passions would include hot dates with Shauna, traveling the world, college football, and wrestling with the boys.
