ARE YOU READY FOR SAF 2008?
WHO: Children entering Kindergarten in the fall through completed 5th grade.
WHAT: This summer spend nine weeks exploring the arts, June 4-July 30! Each student will choose one art elective and participate in an exciting children's choir. Please note that all Pre-K and Kindergarten students will be introduced to a variety of arts by using a pre-set schedule.
WHEN: Wednesday evenings from 5:45 - 7:15 p.m. beginning June 4 and ending with a Festival Celebration on July 30. New this year--Guest Artist Night on Wednesday, July 2.

To see children learn at an early age that the purpose of the Arts is to bring glory to God and to serve the Body of Christ through their gifts.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE COST?
There is a $5.00 registration fee in addition to class tuition. The maximum cost for all nine weeks is $20 per student. Scholarships are available--please contact the Worship Office at Second Baptist Church.
WHAT ARE ART ELECTIVE COURSES?
Each Wednesday, the children will participate in 45 minutes of children's choir and 45 minutes of an art elective. To view the elective courses available, please click on the "Course Offerings" above. We are excited to offer several new electives this summer as well as some of the favorite, back-by-popular-demand classes. Please note that students will be participating in one elective this summer and some of these classes have special requests, fees or availability restrictions as indicated in the course descriptions.
WHO WILL BE TEACHING MY CHILD?
Many of our teachers include elementary and high school educators, artists and musicians from all over the Springfield area.
HOW MANY CHILDREN WILL BE IN EACH CLASS?
We have capped all elective courses at a maximum of 15 students, with a student-teacher ratio of about four to one.
