The church family here at Second Baptist is committed to creating a strong, compelling witness throughout the Greater Springfield area. Our desire is be authentic believers and plant seeds of hope that encourages our neighbors in our communities. We are committed to embrace the "Great Commission" by building partnerships with fourteen community ministries that are committed to listen, be a friend, and meet the needs of those within our community. Ministry is Second Baptist Church fingerprint. We must not only "share the Good News of the Love of Christ" but show it by actions that promotes trust and builds relationships that make an eternal difference.
